TWC FLO Membership Profile

This is the first step in becoming a member here at The Well Church Florence. 

After you fill out this profile we will then plan a meeting to talk with you through your testimony and the TWC church covenant.

Questions to think through: What was your life like before Christ? How did you know you needed Christ? How has your life been since trusting in Christ?

Having received Jesus Christ as my Savior and following Him in baptism, and having reviewed the doctrine, vision, and mission of The Well Church, I feel lead by the Holy Spirit to unite with the The Well Church. I hereby commit myself to God and to the other members of The Well Church, to:

• Support my church
- through my regular attendance in corporate worship
- through my commitment to connecting with a small group (Tribe)
- through my engaging in disciple making by joining or starting a Huddle
- through my financial giving
- through my faithful ministry service

“Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25

“Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath
prospered him. 1 Corinthians 16:2

“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” 1 Peter 4:10

• Safeguard my church
- against harmful gossip by showing my love to others
- against division of any kind by following the church’s leadership in vision, mission, and values
- against personal divisiveness by addressing issues individually and immediately

“Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.” Colossians 4:6

“So that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.” 1 Corinthians 12:25

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.” Matthew 18:15–17 (Matthew 5:9;23-24)

• Strengthen my church
- through regularly inviting others to attend and welcoming others when they do
- through living the Christian call through lifestyle of personal evangelism and discipleship
- through praying for unity in my church and it’s leadership
- through actively praying for those being sent, and personally praying for my role in our sending efforts through living a Godly life in holiness as an example of God’s changing power

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

* Membership will be deemed inactive after 1 year of failure to uphold this covenant.
